What kind of liner type do you need?

What's the difference between Overlap, Beaded, Unibead or J-Hook?

Overlap liners are very easy to install. Once you remove the top rail of your above-ground swimming pool, an overlap liner simply pulls over the wall and is then trimmed or rolled to fit on the outside of the pool wall.

Unibead Can Be Used As Beaded or J-hook Pool Liner

Unibead liners are the ultimate in versatility and have a two-in-one feature that allows you to replace an Overlap pool liner with a Unibead liner. Unibead above-ground swimming pool liners have the option to be used with a bead receiver or as a J-Hook liner. If you don’t have a bead receiver, simply hook the line onto the rim of the pool wall.

Overlap liners are very easy to install. Once you remove the top rail of your above-ground swimming pool, an overlap liner simply pulls over the wall and is then trimmed or rolled to fit on the outside of the pool wall.

These liners normally have flat or round plastic strips (also known as "V Snap" coping or as “Horseshoe” coping) that snap over top of the liner to hold it in place.

Unibead pool liners aka universal bead liners are a little different. They can be used either with a bead receiver or as a “U-hook” / “J-hook” liner. They can also be used to replace overlap liners.

If you don’t have a bead receiver, hook the line onto the rim of the pool wall. If you have a bead receiver, remove the J-hook portion of the unibead system and install it like a beaded liner by snapping the liner into place.
